Your tasks

An excellently planned expansion strategy is an essential success factor for our growth - and this is exactly where you are in demand as Head of Sales Spain (m/f/d).

  • Together with the management you develop the Spanish market and develop a strategy how we can win customers for our service
  • You scan the market for Spanish shippers and carriers and find ways to address them and inspire them for us
  • You represent and negotiate for our company in the exciting interface between (major) customers, international forwarding agencies and transport companies
  • You plan both online and offline marketing campaigns and put them into practice
  • You use Facebook, Xing or LinkedIn to identify potential customers and run social media campaigns
  • You deal with the legal framework of an expansion in Spain and receive our legal support in doing so
  • You are in close contact with the management and the other Country Managers to support each other

Your profile

We see our talented and motivated employees as our most important asset. But what requirements do you have to meet to become a part of the success story?

  • You have at least a good to very good degree in business administration (desirable with a focus on sales or logistics / supply chain management)
  • You have already gained at least 2-3 years of practical experience in project management or sales after graduation (ideally in the finance and insurance industry or in the logistics and forwarding industry)
  • You have development work in your DNA and enjoy working your way into the logistics and forwarding industry (or you already have successful years in the industry)
  • You see yourself as a seasoned salesperson and enjoy presenting products and closing negotiations professionally
  • You like to be creative and plan and complete marketing campaigns (ideally you know the basics of SEA / SEO, social media marketing and can operate content management systems (CMS))
  • You prefer to work independently and entrepreneurially and therefore know how to organize your own tasks in order to achieve your goals
  • You speak English fluently and Spanish at native speaker level (any other foreign language, such as German, is very welcome, but not a must)
